AIVI Intelligence Oy uses cookies and browser local storage on this website. Storage technologies that are necessary or relate to functions requested by the user are used to operate the website and remember the user's choices. Google Analytics 4 starts only with the user's consent.
1. What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small text files stored in the browser. Browser local storage, or localStorage, is a similar storage technology that allows the website to remember choices made by the user during later visits.
2. Functional storage used by the website

We store the user's Google Analytics consent choice in browser local storage. The information is used only to remember whether analytics was accepted or rejected. It remains until the user changes the choice in the cookie settings or deletes the website data from the browser.
siteLanguage
When the user selects Finnish, English or Swedish, the choice may be stored in browser local storage. The information is used only to display the selected language version. It is not used for analytics or marketing.
3. Google Analytics 4
With the user's consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used and how its content can be improved. The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Analytics may process information such as page views, sessions, traffic sources, browser and device information, approximate location and interactions with the website.
The website also records an event when a user clicks a button that opens an email enquiry. The user's email address, the content of the email and personal data entered in a message are not sent to Google Analytics through this event.
For traffic from the EU, EEA, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, Google states that IP addresses are used to derive approximate location and discarded before the data is logged in Analytics.

5. Advertising and profiling
The website does not currently use Google Analytics for targeted advertising. Google Consent Mode settings relating to advertising storage, advertising user data and personalised advertising remain denied. The website does not use automated decision-making or user-specific marketing profiling.
6. Giving and changing consent
Google Analytics is not loaded before analytics consent is given. The user may accept analytics or choose necessary storage only. The choice can be changed at any time through the Cookie settings button in the website footer. When analytics consent is withdrawn, analytics storage is denied and Google Analytics cookies recognised by the website are removed from the browser.
7. Retention and international transfers
The retention period for user-level and event-level data in AIVI's Google Analytics property is set to 14 months. Google may also process information outside the EU and EEA. Such transfers are carried out using transfer mechanisms and safeguards required by applicable data protection law.
